Learn to use beginner-friendly 3D modeling software and take home your very own custom 3D-printed creation! A 15-minute break will be provided—please pack a snack.

Note: 3D printing takes time. Finished designs will be available for pickup on Monday, August 4 between 2:00–2:30 PM. If you're unable to come during this window, we're happy to schedule an alternative pickup time.

Instructor Profile:

Meet AbdurRehman Syed, a passionate electrical engineer and licensed educator with expertise spanning grades 6 through 12. With endorsements in engineering, robotics, STEM, and mathematics, AbdurRehman is dedicated to igniting curiosity and fostering innovation in his students. Currently teaching dual-credit engineering and robotics classes at one of Illinois' top high schools, he combines academic rigor with hands-on learning experiences. In the past, he has led Summer STEM programs at his school. AbdurRehman's approach empowers students to explore the exciting worlds of technology and engineering, preparing them for a future where they can thrive in these dynamic fields.
